When purchasing a new home, investing in a homeowners drain survey should be considered one of your most important priorities

Mortgage lenders, insurers and solicitors will request a home buyers CCTV drain survey as it provides vital information, such as drain mapping. Without a CCTV Drain Survey you won’t know what condition drains are in. 

DSS engineers provide home buyers with a thorough appraisal of the condition of their new home’s drainage system including a WinCan VX Report which will give you full visibility into any work that may need to be done before you can complete your purchase.

In 2010 the Utility companies took on shared ownership of the sewer systems. If building work takes place with 3m of any sewer the Utility company responsible for the sewer will require a Build Over Survey. This details the condition of the sewer and connections. DSS are able to provide the CCTV survey details which form part of this report.
